Clearly, this is not the time to be reducing EVS staff. We’ve come to realize that, ultimately, EVS staff are invaluable in helping a hospital to raise its Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores and reducing readmissions.
